Change Starts With Ourselves

If we actually want change, we need to take a look in the mirror first.  I came to this realization and I realized I need to change myself.  I needed to change how I thought.  I Need to change how I treat others.  I Need to change how I give.  Whether I'm where I want to be in life or not, I can give one thing and that's my love.  God placed this heavy on my heart, no matter how much pain I go through,  I still envision a world with more peace.  Tensions are always at an all time high.  Sometimes too much time on social media feels like the end of the world.  Then you step outside and you realize that it isn’t so bad afterall.  But there is a lot of darkness going on in the world or even the United States for that matter.  It’s almost impossible not to see it.  What makes it more messed up is that a lot of times we walk or scroll right pass.  It is almost as if we are numb to it.

Being an empath hits different—I can feel people’s pain like it’s my own. From folks trapped in poverty to innocent souls caught in warzones, I’ve witnessed way too much, stuff that really opened my heart to the struggles people face. Honestly, it’s wild how messed up things are. There’s gotta be a better way. It’s so easy to just follow the crowd and judge without thinking—we’ve all done it. But let’s keep it real, If we want change, we can’t wait around for someone else to do it. It starts with us.

I’ve seen far too many people contradict themselves.  How do you want justice when you are putting others down?  Even if that’s not the case, I see people acting as if they are better than people just because they feel as if their way or their beliefs are better And this can go for anybody, whether it's race, religion, polltics, sexual orientation, gender, etc.  This is why I feel so strongly about this because I see people contradict themselves far too often and I feel as if there should be a better way.  At Least a healthier way to promote their agenda without trying to force their views on somebody.

At the end of the day we all bleed the same blood.  We can be united, we don’t have to be divided.  We can’t blame everything on the government.  It  starts with ourselves.  A Lot of times we are biased to our own thoughts or beliefs so it’s really easy to be stuck in our own ways.

Some people are so used to the way things are, they don’t even question it anymore. But real talk—I truly believe we can vibe together and make it work. I’ve been all over the U.S., and I’ve seen spots where people are thriving, so yeah, there’s still hope out there. If you’re feeling this message, go ahead and subscribe to my newsletter.
